The Strange Real World
It was the early morning of a sunny day of winter. Adam along with his friend Albert was thoughtfully walking to the shore of the river, passed through the center of the city in which they lived in. The immigrant birds were flying around the river and crying which created an imaginary scene and drew the attention of passer-by around the river.
A new small package in a corner, under a bare tree drew the attention of Adam and Albert. They stopped hesitantly, came toward the package. Adam took it and opened the package; it was simply a pair of glasses, sunny glasses. Adam smiled and told his friend
"Someone has left it behind"
"May be" replied Albert
Adam wished to pack the glasses again but smiled and unconsciously put it on his own eyes, looked to Albert while his smile was fading. He turned in a circle and looked around to the people who passed by.
"Adam put the glass down and let's go" Said Albert
It seemed that Adam did not heard the words of Albert, so he repeated again
" Adam, I asked you put it down and lets go"
Adam seemed very frightened. He suddenly started to cry, took off the glasses, flung it to the river and began to run quickly while Albert and the other people looked at him amusingly. Adam was going out of sight; his friend worriedly chased him.
Adam went to home and Albert reached there too.
"What's the matter Adam?" Asked Albert
"Leave me alone" replied Adam
"Your are my friend and I MUST know what the matter is"
"The glasses, the glasses, …"
"My friend, dear Adam, let me know clearly, what is the matter of the glasses?"
"When I put the glasses on my eyes, then I …"
"I don't understand Adam "
"Most of the people were not human beings at all, a collection of …" and paused.
" .. a collection of different animals"
"Animals?!"
"Yes snakes, sheep, apes, …"
Albert was also shocked and became silent for some minutes and then asked:
" Adam, how were we, I mean I and you?"
"We had also tails, like apes"
