The Blind Man and Men
The Blind Man and Men
They were two fortune young pair who loved each other too much. It was the middle of spring and they sat at the yard of their home, under the high trees, looking to the birds, dancing, jumping to the branches and singing.
"Dear let's go to the home of my parents, it's a long time we've not met them" said the woman.
"That's Ok. dear" Answered her husband.
They gathered some furniture, saddle the horse and happily drove the carriage. They moved through the attracting jungle while talking and laughing. They reached to a small river and had to pass through it.
"That man …" said the woman"
"What is that man?" replied the man.
"That man seems to be blind"
"Yes I know him, he is blind"
"I think he also wish to go to the other side of the reviver and …"
"And shall we bring him with ourselves?"
"Yes, if you don,t mind to"
"Ok. Dear" agreed the man.
The man came near the blind man and said:
"What can I do for you?"
"I,m blind and can,t pass the river" Replied the blind man.
The man helped the blind and got him on the carriage and her wife cordially welcomed him and the blind man deeply thanked them.
They passed the river and reached to other side. The man said to the blind man;
"Ok. You can now dismount from the carriage"
"What? What do you mean?" said the blind man.
The man shocked and surprisingly said:
"but … but we are in the other side of the river and"
"and what! She is my wife and …" and started to cry:
"Oh people, I,m blind and she is my wife, this traitor man wish to steal my horse, carriage and my wife, oh people help me …."
The woman astonished, gazed to the blind man and start to cry that:
"This man is a liar, he is not my husband, he is a liar ...".
There were a lot of men, women and children near them who were farming in their fields. They all noted an unusual situation and came toward the man, his wife and the blind man, while they twisted their shovels and woods in their hands. The cry of the blind man was the only sound they could listen and understand. In the tumult the farmers cried:
"Don,t worry blind man, we don,t let this treacherous man steal your wife, we help you, we …"
Both man and his wife were crying too but the people behave as their understandings.
The group of the people reached them and it was the honest man who was crushed under the heavy strokes of the people. After a short while the man was more or less senseless and deathly pale, the people were pulling him on the ground toward the justice to hang him while the justice was also at the behind of the furious wave of the people and the blind man rushed the carriage along with the shocked wife of the man from the other side, while she was dreadfully crying.
