i wish
I wish I had multiple arms
So that I could someone while hiding
Their eyes from the worst of the world
So that I could hold their hands and keep them warm
Through the crisp coldness of winter
So that I could cover their ears
From the words from twisted mouths that speak them
From the lies that fall from everyones tongues like leaves on a tree
I wish I had multiple arms so that I could close their lips
From saying those words and lies
I would so that I could keep them safe and warm in my embrace
So that I could caress the tears from their soft cheeks
I wish I had multiple arms so that I could do all these things
While holding them tight, warm, and full of love-
But I dont have muliple arms.
Then i'll just use the ones I have
