... hanging on...


… I tired to hang on… to capture the light…

but it slipped through my treacherous fingers…

…a fish escaping back to the water…

 

… an eel slowly wriggling back into its river of darkness…

but the light will return

… dragged slowly by the dawn…

 

… until the bright warming blanket

comforts the land…

once more to fool us… with false optimism and hope…
