The Unknown Path
eyes shadowed by time
the uncertain path
with twists and pits
straight arrow spine
loyalty and pride
shrouded in darkness
i tread the lonely path
love is the compass
and life is the game
the road my choice
and as i take another step
pushing along
the world gone dark
my uncertain path before me
i know not myself
but know my path
not where it leads
or where it will inevitably end
but know i made the decision
free and clear, my choice
and in the end i think...
that may just make a difference in the end
