Why do you like writing?
Gabriel McNeese: I don't know really. I like to make my own characters. I couldn't draw them so I write about them.

When did you start writing and why?
Gabriel McNeese: August of 1997 is when I started. I was only 12. People have told me that I have a massive imagination. I won the creative writing award at school.

How long have you been writing?
Gabriel McNeese: Little over 8 years.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Gabriel McNeese: Lord of the Rings and the Holy Bible.

Who is your favorite author?
Gabriel McNeese: J.R.R Tolkien and Jerry B. Jenkins

What is the best story you have ever written?
Gabriel McNeese: Its called Jonah's House of Madness. I wrote it in the 8th grade. Its really the only story that I ever finished and it didn't have a sequel. Where that paper is now is a mystery to me.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Gabriel McNeese: Be creative. Use your own ideas. Read a lot of books. It really does help you. Don't let any one bring you down or tell you that your writing is bad. Everybody has other way's of expressing there selfs.
