Why do you like writing?
Stephanie N. Karnes: Writing allows me to escape this world and all the troubles that come with it. that's why i write fiction

When did you start writing and why?
Stephanie N. Karnes: i started writing for my friend's comic books, soon found that i loved it, and i have been writing avidly ever sense!

Stephanie N. Karnes: i was 13 when i started and i'm 17 now.

Stephanie N. Karnes: wow, hard to say. i really like the anita blake series by laurell K. hamilton, though

Stephanie N. Karnes: none. i like too many to choose!

What is the best story you have ever written?
Stephanie N. Karnes: the best story i ever wrote was an action piece where the action never stopped!!! but some of my romance is good, too

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Stephanie N. Karnes: read THE COURAGE TO WRITE by Ralph Keyes. it is the best book any writer can read (for advice, that is).
