Why do you like writing?
Vena Dykrs: It helps express what im feeling. When i was a child i had a dramatic issue happen to me.. To a friend and it really got to me. This lady i knew told me to write down how exactly i was feeling. To go back and reread it. So. As time goes i. I still continue. It helps and I've noticed people do actually enjoy others thoughts.

When did you start writing and why?
Vena Dykrs: I started probably when i was 13. My best friend went to prison for murder 6 days after his 15th birthday. I needed an outlet for i fell hard.

How long have you been writing?
Vena Dykrs: Been writing on and off from age of 13.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Vena Dykrs: Unsure the name of the book. All i remember it was about angels.

Who is your favorite author?
Vena Dykrs: Stephen King

What is the best story you have ever written?
Vena Dykrs: There's nothing of the best. I have written my stuff and usually throw it away due to past experience. Teachers having kept my portfolio. Causing me to give up on trusting anyone with my writings.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Vena Dykrs: Don't try to force anything to come to mind. Just let it flow. It will come natural then.
