Why do you like writing?
mikael: Writing seems to relax me, and it gives me a personal satisfaction to know I have created something that myself and others may enjoy.

When did you start writing and why?
mikael: I found out when I was about 14 that I could write poetry....and I liked it.

How long have you been writing?
mikael: I have been writing somewhere around fourty years.

What is the best book you have ever read?
mikael: The best book I've ever read would have to be the Bible.

Who is your favorite author?
mikael: I have two favorite authors....Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allen Poe....need I say more?

What is the best story you have ever written?
mikael: I don't know which is the best story I've ever written.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
mikael: I would give the oldest advise on writing....Rewriting.
