Elisabeth Jacobs: Because it gives you a chance to express how you feel about things.

When did you start writing and why?
Elisabeth Jacobs: I started writing when I was eleven because I had a million stories in my head so I had to put them on paper!

How long have you been writing?
Elisabeth Jacobs: I have been writing for about five years.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Elisabeth Jacobs: I could never decide on one book that is my favorite because I love all books! One of my current favorites is The Hunger Games Series, and I also like most of Laurie Halse Anderson's books.

Who is your favorite author?
Elisabeth Jacobs: I don't have a favorite author, but I really like Laurie Halse Anderson.

What is the best story you have ever written?
Elisabeth Jacobs: I really dont know! My favorite that I've written is Lost in Love. Most of my stories are mostly fictional, so this ones my favorite because it really happened.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Elisabeth Jacobs: Don't be afraid to let your stories take a turn towards a completely different direction than the ending you had planned. Let your imagination write them for you.
