Why do you like writing?
Heather Towell: It's like an escape from the harsh reality.

When did you start writing and why?
Heather Towell: I've been writing my whole life, because I was sick of reading great books and never having them end the way I would like. I wanted to read a book that was, well, Mine.

How long have you been writing?
Heather Towell: Since I could read.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Heather Towell: The Last Song, by Nicholas Sparks. It was so touching.

Who is your favorite author?
Heather Towell: P.C. Cast, and V.C. Andrews. They just really seem to touch my interests.

What is the best story you have ever written?
Heather Towell: I have begun several, but have yet to finish one.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Heather Towell: Don't hold back. Just let it flow from you the way you want it to, and worry about the details later.
