THE LAST DAY

THE LAST DAY

My old neighbor went out to shovel the snow,as he had did many times befo’.
This time he clutched his chest after he had did his best.

He fell and his heart put him at rest.
A snow Angel fall in the snow and he could not get up no mo’.

It was time to close the show.
He had went as far as he could go.
Today was his last day.
 Time to pass away.

His old wife Minni came running out to drag him from the cold, but she was too old.
She did a shout just before her heart gave out.

The shock and the strain caused a major pain.
She could not stand to see her loved one layed out in the snow.

She never pictured this to be the way he would go.
At the last minute she realized she would rather die with him than live without him.

When the lights started to go dim.Her last words were I love you,Joe,as they passed away the in snow!
