A Dream of You
I long to see your face
I wait impatiently counting the days and the nights,
till I can hear your voice.
I want to hold your hand and wrap my arms around you,
never wanting to let you go.
I count the days and nights till I see you.
I close my eyes at night and have a wonderful dream,
a dream that I see you right in front of me.
I run to you and we hug,
then awake and for a moment I am happy,
then I close my eyes again and dream that dream again.
