Why do you like writing?
Chris Matthews: When I write it makes me feel better on the inside. You can usually tell what mood I am in when you read something of mine.

When did you start writing and why?
Chris Matthews: A couple years ago...I got tired of drawing so much that I started writing stuff. I recently started writing songs for my new rock band.

How long have you been writing?
Chris Matthews: since I started...probably about 4 years or so.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Chris Matthews: Um...I would have to say "A light in the Attic" by Shel Silverstein.

Who is your favorite author?
Chris Matthews: Shel Silverstein....I love those books!!

What is the best story you have ever written?
Chris Matthews: Um...I dunno... I usually write poems..

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Chris Matthews: Put everything you have into your writings so they will turn out the best!
