What is some advice you would give new writers?
Jack Gialanella: I am a new writer myself. It feels that way no matter what I write. Write about what you find interesting, Don't allow currently accepted subjects and styles influence you too heavily. this will make it difficult for others to legitimize and limit art . Anarchy in art leads to interesting art. That is too say, find your influences in everything and everyone. The most seemingly prosaic moment can offer inspiration for a master piece. On the subject of masterpieces: Usually you get one if even that. It seems that it happens when what is inside one's head finally comes through communication sufficiently. Don't let the goal of a masterpiece limit your productivity as it might never occur.
