Why do you like writing?
Swati Sarkar: Writing gives me peace of mind. This way I can give vent to all the things that are builtin my mind, I like imagining things, and thus need a way to bring those imaginations to the world. Here writing helps me.

When did you start writing and why?
Swati Sarkar: While I was yet in school, I started by writing poetry. My life has become miserable, I was frustrated, I needed a way out to express them, though not directly, so I opted for writing.

How long have you been writing?
Swati Sarkar: Since last eight years, but in-between I quit writing for two years, during these two years my life has become so miserable that, I had no words come down my mind.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Swati Sarkar: Great Expectations by Charles Dickens.

Swati Sarkar: Buried after 28years.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Swati Sarkar: Write what you can imagine, feel, percive of your own, because its always your very own thoughts that you can express in the best way. If you try to write like someone you will never suceed, its only your writing that can give you success and pleasure.
