Ken Makepeace: When I was in high school.
How long have you been writing?
Ken Makepeace: About thirty-five years, but only started writing short stories six years ago after attending a writing course aix years ago.
What is the best book you have ever read?
Ken Makepeace: It's hard to say, but if there was one I had to choose, It would have to be, The Summer That Never Was, by Peter Robinson. Just an amazing read.
Who is your favorite author?
Ken Makepeace: Peter Robinson. I love the way he describes his characters. He's a brilliant crime writer.
What is the best story you have ever written?
Ken Makepeace: One of my earliest short stories - A Clean Break.
What is some advice you would give new writers?
Ken Makepeace: Keep going, whatever.
