Why do you like writing?
Haley Cook: I just love to write and make up stories! :) It makes me feel happy.

When did you start writing and why?
Haley Cook: I have starting writing short stories sense I was about nine years old. In the beginning they were corny, but they got better as months went by. I started showing my mother my stories and she thought the description was wonderful. I want to write for a living. Maybe become a famous writer.

How long have you been writing?
Haley Cook: For about six years.

What is the best book you have ever read?
Haley Cook: I can't answer that. I have to many. I don't really have a favorite book. But, I do love most horror and supernatural books about haunted places. A few of my favorite books are Matilda, the Vampire Chronicles. (First book Interview With A Vampire.)

Who is your favorite author?
Haley Cook: Roald Dahl, Mary Downing Hahn, and Anne Rice. I love Roald Dahl's humor he expresses in his books for children. Mary Downing Hahn is one of the best ghost story writer. Anne Rice is a absolutely brilliant Vampire writer. I love the subject of vampires and she satisfied my taste for the subject greatly.

What is the best story you have ever written?
Haley Cook: Uh, I really like the Morva Hollow story, but I also am enjoying my newest story about vampires called The Cold Ones.

What is some advice you would give new writers?
Haley Cook: A good writer enjoys to express themselves in writing. He/she is proud of there work. Just let your imagination run wild!
